Hotel Alpenroyal - Zermatt

The Alpenroyal Hotel offers panoramic Matterhorn views from its quiet location in car-free Zermatt. You enjoy free access to the indoor swimming pool, the hot tub, the sauna and the steam bath.

All rooms have an en-suite bathroom and a cable TV.

Hotel Alpenroyal is situated right at the end of the Rothorn ski run, 5 minutes from the Sunnegga valley station (via a lift) and 7 minutes from the Gornergrat train station (by bus). The village centre can be reached within 3 minutes via a lift.

The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 11:00.

Please note that Zermatt is a car-free village. You can park your car in Täsch (indoor parking) and continue to Zermatt by train or taxi. A shuttle service from the parking area or from the train station can be provided upon request by the hotel between 8 am and 5 pm and against a surcharge.

In the mid-season (MayJune and October) the lift to the village centre may have limited use.

There is currently a construction site with a crane in close proximity to our hotel. The work may temporarily affect the view from some rooms.

Room with Matterhorn views, a balcony or shared ground floor terrace, a TV, a safe, a sofa bed, and a bathroom with a hairdryer. Some of the rooms are located in the attic and have sloping ceilings. Please note that the room rate is based on 2 guests. Maximum occupancy is 3 guests (see Extra Bed Rates). ;
Triple Room with Balcony or Ground Floor Terrace. Room with views of the Matterhorn, a balcony or terrace, a TV, a safe, and a bathroom with a hairdryer. Some of the rooms are located in the attic and have sloping ceilings. ;
Family Room (2 Adults + 2 Children) with Balcony or Ground Floor Terrace. Family room with Matterhorn view, a balcony or shared ground floor terrace, 1 twin room, 1 single room, seating area, bathtoilet, toilet, hairdryer, TV and safety box. ;
Standard Single Room. Single room with showertoilet, hairdryer, TV and safety box. ;
Economy Double Room. Rooms are 17 square metres. Double room with shower or bath and toilet, hair dryer, telephone, TV and safety box. ;
Deluxe Single Room. This single room includes a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a private bathroom as well as a balcony. The unit offers 1 bed.
